System call notification outside of browser

We've done similar with a pinned tab, however it still only shows the call notifications on that tab or window. Having a browser extension or separate program would allow for notification popups that could be accepted anywhere. Most of what we use day-to-day are full-screen or maximized windows, so even having EC on its own window doesn't solve the issue.

We've installed Expert Connect as a desktop app that opens in a dedicated Chrome window, separate from the Chrome browser window. This keeps EC from getting buried in a pile of tabs in a browser window. Also, you can have EC open multiple times for multitasking. Hope this helps!

William Fogelsanger How are you doing the multiple instances? Most of our users have also switched to using EC as a Chrome app for better visibility, but the downside is that they haven't been able to have multiple instances that way. That's not a problem for most users, but it is for my position which is why I have stuck with multiple browser tabs.

Tim Winter I just open the app again. Currently, I have the app open 4 times on my computer, and I'm bouncing across three monitors. It's especially helpful if you have to refresh one of the screens, because the notifications will clear out. But if you have multiple screens open, your notifications will still be there on the other screens (providing you haven't refreshed those too) Hope this helps!
