Save Tabs/Filters Locally

They should not have to be rechecked every day after signing in. Between the pinned tabs and Insights requiring selections every time, it kind of sucks. The tabs thing is new, it used to last a few weeks, not it is daily. Insights has always required checking the boxes every time. As we add more teams into out dealership, we now have to sort through a bunch just to click ours.

Hey Ian, I would recommend to implement a functionality, like the CRM has.
Here, every user can arrange the columns in a free order (inluding size and sort) and save as an own view. In addition to this, it is possible to save lots of different sheets.
I think this is also very important when it comes to more and more content in ExpertConnect as well.

Hey all... doing some investigation on this particular request and would appreciate some feedback. On the main Ticket Dashboard we would plan on saving column preferences (resizing, re organizing, and hiding) so they don't reset after signing out/in.
What are people's thoughts on the actual filters themselves (IE if you filter by a title, status, advisor, etc.)? Would you like to see these also persist even upon logouts or should these be more session based?
Thanks for the input.
P.S. The PINNING and Insights mentioned above are more straightforward so planning to do those as well.

Ian Zimmerman Regarding the filters themselves, I agree with you they should be session based for sure. Regarding the resizing etc. Would love to see that customization able to happen, without having to set them every time you log in for sure. One thing I am finding is my choices inside the ticket are not saving and just seems to be a mess. Please add this in a customizable section to be saved so it saves true. I will move the tabs in the ticket, they don't end up saving its annoying have to constantly rearrange these.

Victor Kostyk yes, the new resizing and re-organizing of ticket specific fields is absolutely in scope. Just like the PINNING of ticket actions, I think it's a no brainer that this type of preference should just auto-save.

Ian Zimmerman For the actual filters themselves, I think this should be session based, and not persist after log out.

Save customized ticket details layout

Now you can move boxes around to rearrange the ticket. That is a nice feature. but I need all my tickets to look the same to be efficient. So that I know where the techs X id is or where the S/N is. I think you should create a save layout button. So that once you find the layout you like, any new ticket that you grab will follow the same layout. Otherwise, it works against being efficient.

Couldn't agree more on with this. Biggest comment is the Action column not sticking in the location you move it.
Your column choice can change if you go into a ticket and come back to the dashboard

I moved the Actions column to be the second column on the left in the My Tickets Dashboard view. Reason for that is because it shows the green dot indicating any update to a ticket. (That semaphore would be better if it were in the Tickets column, but that's another issue.) The problem is that if I leave that dashboard view and come back, EC resets / throws the Action column way off to the right again (and if I have all the columns active, clear off the screen out of view). Why is there no way to set / save column order, not only if/when the Dashboard view is temporarily exited, but also such that if I quit EC and come back, my favorite settings / configuration are still there?

Over 100 upvotes, and almost 13 months have passed... Why isn't this feature done yet?

Ability to customize Dashboard settings and also save it as a preferred setting (similar to how we can save custom 'views' in CCMS) so we do not have to re-customize the dashboard when we next log in again.
