Check box merge tickets
Chris Bach
If I understand correctly, in order to merge tickets you have go into the ticket itself and then select the other ticket you wish to merge. The only hassle with that is remembering the ticket numbers that you need to merge. On the main splash page of ExpertConnect Web you can check the boxes of tickets but it only gives you the option to archive/unarchive or close tickets. Could we add a feature that when we check boxes of tickets it has the option to merge. It would make things a bit speedier.

We need the ability to "Unmerge" a ticket as well. I have seen several incidences where a ticket got merged incorrectly and need to be seperated

Would it be possible to merge just a picture or just a comment from one ticket to another? I like the delete picture option. I wish a manager could delete a sent or received picture, but if they had the ability to send the picture/comment from one ticket to another that would help out. If a tech puts a picture or comment via text or by mistake into the wrong ticket, it would be great to just move it to the correct one.

This would be a great enhancement, at the moment we are seeing related tickets not being merged because of the difficulty in doing it. The check box proposal would be a great solution.

I agree. The App picked a random picture instead of the correct one on me......oh boy.......

Another option would be to change a comment or picture from public to private. If something was sent incorrect and we have a DTAC case linked. It can be a bit confusing, if we can't remove the comment or picture, we could flip it to private, then it isn't visible to the TSS and therefore only showing what needs shared.
Deleting pictures and comments, or merging pictures and comments would be the best option.
I know the user can delete a picture via the phone app, but only the user and only a picture.

This would help tremendously.
