app to app calling (internal)

Right now if say Parts in Branch 1 wants to call Parts in Branch 2, there is no way to do this directly.
The "solution" is for an advisor in Parts at Branch 1 to make a ticket with the Parts team in Branch 2, then when the advisor from Branch 2 calls back, the call will go to the Branch 1 advisors personal cell (because we don't give Parts staff company devices).
If you direct call another advisor, it will call their cell, not ring their app.
There has to be a way to handle inter-company calling from inside the ExpertConnect app.

EC Development Team - PLEASE make this a priority!! It has been advertised and promoted heavily for dealers to incorporate this awesome platform. Many of us have already done so in some form. While it is a superior product, we need the ability to maintain the same functionality we have with traditional phones. Losing peer to peer or direct to an extension internally negatively impacts business in a BIG way.

I agree with this and feel it is a critical piece. We are in the process of fully transitioning to EC for our phone system. Now finding out we are going to lose the ability to make a call from one location department to another location department within the systems. This happens frequently in the parts department. Example: customer comes into store 1 for parts, store 2 has the part showing in stock but need to verify inventory before sending customer potentially hours away to pick up critical part need.

It appears you can call Team to Team via mobile app but not via Web interface.

Completely agree with this, this could even apply to calling other dealers directly through the app. Rather than having to either ring their landline. You could just click call on the app or web dashboard next to the relevant team you wish to ring.
